Over the 2 1/2 year course of my involvment of this state-of-the-art facility, I was responsible for the coordination and construction of all building systems, civil and aviation coordination (airfield operations, aircraft layouts, utilities), in-situ mock-ups, field reporting, RFI/submittal review and response, change orders, enclosure coordination (which was comprised of unitized curtainwall, composite metal panel, CMU, and architectural concrete). Additionally, seismic joints, roofing, interior finishing, 7 types of ceiling panels and substructure for all of the above.

Situated in the central business district of Brisbane, this 40 story infill project is a response to a massive influx of international students flocking to Australia from Asia.
Comprised of 715 beds of both multi-share and studio units, the tower itself plays a crucial role in establishing an iconic presence in a city at the tipping point to competing on the international level to attract businesses and skilled professionals to its expanding economic base.
Project involvement in Arkhefield was limited to facade design and rationalization as well as the interior lobby feature wall.
